Really nice without being over the top. Was here for a wedding and an overnight guest. The wedding food was very good, as was the breakfast. The beds were amazing as well as the rooms as a whole. They also came in and prepared the rooms for us to sleep by removing decorative pillows, putting nice relaxing music on and drawing the sheets and turning off the lights except for the ones reachable from the bed. They even put a bottle of water on each nightstand and a glass.
pro's- ambience, accommodating staff(valet, mangers, waiters etc) the cocktail hour and dessert
I went her for lunch on a Saturday around 1 and it was a long wait for each course. Even for the salad! (party of 8)
Excellent food and service. Atmosphere is very romantic. I took my wife here for her birthday and she loved it. Only flaw is the appetizer I ordered, the tuna tartare. The sauce tasted like a salad dressing from Newmans. Give the banana cream pie a try, you'll love it!
The dessert was the best part of the night. there were 5 king size tables filled with every dessert you could ever want or think of.
Overall all the experience was good.
Beautiful venue, magnificent gardens and view. Service was excellent. Food not so much. Swordfish special was rubbery and tasteless. Indeed it tasted as though it had been frozen and defrosted. My second visit to this restaurant. It can't be beat for elegance and ambiance, but for good food go elsewhere.
I had the best experience in this hotel. It was awesome!!! I recommend this experience to everybody. I will never forget it. Ty staff for the great treatment. I am so grateful
I also had attend a Ball here the cocktail hour was good and had various food stations. That was quicker than the sit down dinner. (party of 100+)
